If joining a gym is not something you would like to do at this time. You can purchase some inexpensive equipment such as a stationary bike, elliptical machine, treadmill, dumbbells and etc from your local sporting good store. You can use this equipment in the privacy of your own home.
If purchasing equipment is not something you can do at this time, you could just walk and run. Walking at a brisk pace daily can burn calories. Walking and running is better than doing nothing. You can actually see results from walking or running daily and changing your eating habits.
